Q. Do you ship to the U.S. or Internationally?
A. No, we only ship within Canada.
Q. Do you offer delivery locally?
A. Yes, when you choose the delivery option in the checkout a small fee will be charged if your address falls within our service area. However, we would need a telephone number so that we can make arrangements or to notify you of any items that might be on backorder at the time of your order. If you are outside of the service area then Canada Post charges will apply.
Q. What if I would prefer to pick up my order?
A. We do offer pick up as an option as well. There is, of course, no fee (shipping or handling) charged relating to any delivery with this option. However, we would need a telephone number so that we can make arrangements or to notify you of any items that might be on backorder at the time of your order.
Q. Are the products you carry Canadian Made?
A. We work very hard to find product lines that are Made in Canada, however, our standards for green and health conscious must always be at the forefront of our thinking. The good news is that the majority of our products are indeed made here in Canada.
Q. I see you "offset", how do you figure out how much to pay?
A. Because we were not able to find an exact calculator to figure out how much we contribute to CO2 emissions when we ship via Canada Post, we decided to try to aim high. Our calculation of 1 tonne per month is based on a regular Sedan car travelling 5000km; when in reality we ship one small package in a truck that is carrying many packages - so our impact is really only a percentage of what that Canada Post vehicle travels. We verified with a representative at Less.ca and she agreed that 1 tonne per month was probably more than enough to offset what we put out. We are happy to do so!
